Man was created for fellowship with God, but has divorced himself from his Creator through sin. This separation from God can be seen today in man's inability to live according to God's will and way.
In spite of man's running out on Him, God has not washed His hands of us. He still cares about His creation. Each day He lavishes His blessings and benefits upon mankind.
God cares so much about man that He came down to this world in the person of Jesus Christ to bring man back to Him. Jesus lived and died, and rose again that man's sins might be washed away and eternal life be given. What we could not do on our own Christ has done for us.
The Spirit of God leads people to faith in Jesus Christ and bring them the blessings of life and salvation through the power of God's Word and the Sacraments. All who believe and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior are part of the Holy Christian Church.
With these words of belief, we come to you. Christians grow in fellowship with God and each other, and actively express their faith through a vital connection with a specific local Christian congregation. Mt. Calvary Lutheran is such a congregation.

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church was founded in September 1940 to the praise and glory of the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is our task to further the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this area and to enlist people of all ages in the service of the Lord.
From the beginning when worship services were held in the first upper parish hall to the present expanded church, our goal has remained the same. We seek to bring the Gospel message of Christ to this community through the clear teaching and preaching of the Word of God and the administration of the Sacraments as Jesus gave them.
Our national affiliation is with the 3 million member Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Together with our sister congregations throughout the United States and Canada, we maintain mission stations, welfare agencies, and educational institutions in every corner of the globe. We sponsor and support mission work throughout the world as an outreach of our faith.
We sponsor television's most widely seen program, "This Is The Life". Our Lutheran Laymen's League brings Christ to the nations through the Lutheran Hour, a weekly radio program heard in 125 lands, each in their own
language.
